Summary of Public Consultation Results and RIA Report, Section 6, Article 78.

The regulations and methods for the conservation and development of public water resources prohibit any activities or actions that degrade water sources or impair the usability of public water resources, and prohibit any activities or actions that cause pollution to water sources or the ecosystem of public water resources. These regulations impose requirements on citizens for their livelihoods and daily lives. The Department of Water Resources has already held consultations with stakeholders and prepared a summary report of those consultations. However, the Ministerial Regulation on Draft Regulations Requiring Public Consultation and Impact Analysis B.E. 2565 (2022) stipulates that draft regulations requiring citizens to perform certain actions or methods for their livelihoods must undergo a public consultation, an analysis of potential impacts, and the disclosure of the results of the consultation and analysis to the public, in accordance with Section 5 of the Act on Principles for Drafting Laws and Assessing the Effectiveness of Laws B.E. 2562 (2019), and the Guidelines for Analyzing Potential Impacts of Laws (No. 2) B.E. 2565 (2022).
